Scale and Manage Your File Data Natively in Microsoft Azure

Authored by:

Let’s face it, using the cloud for file data storage can be complicated. Third-party tools can be tricky to set up and use, especially when they come with various management interfaces. Not to mention, refactoring those legacy applications can be painful, time-consuming, and expensive. What if moving data to and deploying, managing, and scaling file data in the cloud were as simple as just a few clicks? With the Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service, it is!

Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service is Now Available in Public Preview

The Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service delivers cloud file data management and storage services at exabyte scale in a single namespace with the performance, security, and simplicity to meet the most demanding enterprise workloads. This means you can now provision and consume Qumulo data services natively in Azure, and scale your data on demand without having to go through multiple touch points for procurement. The entire provisioning process is now automated directly through the Microsoft Azure portal, allowing you to deploy what you need in minutes when you need it — without VNet Peering and its associated costs. Additionally, the virtual network interfaces for Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service are deployed into your own virtual network, enabling added security configurations, such as Network Security Groups (NSG) or connecting to a virtual appliance to inspect traffic.

File Data in the Cloud, Now as Simple as One Click

While Qumulo has been available on Azure since March  2021, the Public Preview release of the Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service comes with expanded regional availability and a dramatically simplified onboarding and provisioning process.
