Learn about Qumulo File Fabric (QF2)

UI

See QF2 at scale

Get immediate access to a live, 6-node QC104 cluster, located in the Qumulo data center.

This is the fastest way to explore all the features of the QF2 web interface. It takes less than a minute to login and start exploring the power of realtime analytics on a file system with billions of files.

Live QF2 cluster

Access a live QF2 cluster using your web browser

By using the admin graphical interface, you can see how QF2 handles different file types and workloads. You can also take a look at the API & Tools menu to learn about the REST API. With guest access, you'll be able to perform GET operations on the live cluster.

Use the button to the left to access the cluster and the walkthrough that provides a quick way to familiarize yourself with interface.

Explore high performance file in the cloud

The QF2 for AWS Free Edition provides full access to the web admin, REST API and command line interface.

If you are familiar with AWS, a few minutes of setup is all it takes to see QF2's support for SMB, real-time visibility into the storage system, directory-based capacity quotas, and snapshots.

QF2 for AWS

Try QF2 file storage in the cloud

You can create a standalone instance of QF2 on Amazon Web Services for free. You pay only for the underlying AWS infrastructure, including an m4.2xlarge instance. You'll see that QF2 has the highest performance of any cloud-based file system.

After adding the AMI to your Amazon Web Services account, work through the tutorial called "Installing a Single-node Cluster on AWS" or watch the accompanying video. You can also set up a QF2 cluster on AWS.

Build a virtual cluster

Use the Qumulo Core image (OVA) to build a virtual cluster. If you already have a VMware environment, you can quickly create a proof of concept cluster.

The virtual cluster provides full access to all interfaces, including the REST API. This is a great option for testing your applications and workflows.

Virtual Machine Image (OVA)

Run QF2 on-premise with free trial

You can download a VMware OVA file for free and create a QF2 virtual cluster on either a Windows machine or a Mac. You'll see how well QF2 operates in your own environment. Once you download the file, work through the tutorial called "Create a Qumulo File Fabric (QF2) Virtual Cluster" (either the Windows version or the Mac version) or watch the accompanying video. Download the a virtual machine image (OVA) with Qumulo Core installed.
