Data centers that have standardized on HPE can run Qumulo File Fabric (QF2), a modern highly scalable file storage system, on the HPE Apollo 4200 Gen9 Server. QF2 on the Apollo 4200 Gen9 Server supports a wide range of compute-intensive, file-based workloads such as VFX, genomics, research imaging and data analytics. Companies in industries such as health care, where privacy is critical, can use HPE Secure Encryption, which is a controller-based, data-at-rest encryption solution, to ensure that they comply with data privacy requirements and meet compliance regulations. The HPE Apollo 4200 allows you to save valuable rack space through its unique, density optimized, 2U form factor.

QF2 lets administrators get immediate visibility into the storage system and solve problems in real time. For example, they can use the QF2 web UI to identify hot spots and immediately apply a quota to take control of rogue processes. They can combine this capability with HPE Active Health System (a component of the HPE iLO), which provides continuous, proactive health monitoring of over 1600 system parameters and logs 100% of any configuration changes.
