We are hours away from the kick off of GeekWire’s Geeks Gaming for Good, a one-of-a-kind Rocket League tournament in which Seattle area companies will compete for glory, prizes and — most importantly — a prize pool that will support non-profits that are helping our region’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Team Qumulo, consisting of the fearless and valiant Carson Boden, Cesar Medina and Duncan Fairbanks, is playing for a donation to United Way of King County. Tune in and cheer on our team as they throw down against competitors from Avalara, Hiya, Chef, and Flowplay. Nothing like a good gaming battle for a good cause! All the participating teams choose non-profit organizations that are part of the #AllInSeattle initiative.
As GeekWire’s co-founder John Cook says, “Rocket League fanatics will get the chance to strut their stuff — and their custom cars — in GeekWire’s first-ever virtual sports tournament.”
When: Wednesday, July 8, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT
Watch: Watch the Livestream on Geekwire.com
